ABOUT
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in communication from The University of Tennessee at Martin, and interning at WLOK was when I realized I wanted to pursue djing. It was then that I connected with my uncle, the legendary Herb The K, former dj for WDIA. He began to teach me all he knew and gave me his knowledge, wisdom, and expertise of the profession to motivate me to continue to strive for greatness. From minor family house parties, to school dances, and intimate social events, I got my first start. It was because of these people believing in me and giving me a chance that I am now embarking upon my 8th year as a dj. My journey has been filled with the opportunity to serve some wonderful people as well as in some amazing people and places, such as, The Clark Sisters, The Manhattans, Jeffery Osbourne, Google, Mayor Lee Harris, Memphis Grizzlies, Stax Museum of American Soul Music, National Civil Rights Museum, LOVE Nightclub, Prive` Restaurant, and Paradise Entertainment Center. Music is a form of communication. It is my goal to assist various groups of people with speaking through all genres of music.
